are these any good? anyone have experience with them?

i just need basic speakers for everyday use... i was wondering should i get this or is there anything cheaper for under 10 bucks shipped?

As a rule of thumb, I have found myself very satisfied if I order hardware off of Newegg that contains a lot of good customer reviews. Therefore, I say go for it.

Most people here who spend at least $1000 on their computers and buy soundcards are going to put at least $50 into speakers, if not more.

Nothing wrong with using cheap speakers if you're using integrated audio, but if you build a black system it would be pretty silly to not spend another $4.50 to get black speakers.
