Hi,

I have 3 different sticks of SDRAM in my system.
1-Crucial 256mb cas2 PC-133
1-OCZ 256mb cas-2 PC-150
1-Mushkin Rev 2 256mb cas-2 PC-133

Does this cause any type of conflict that could potentially slow my system down, or become an impedement to OC'ing?

they all seem to be of good quality RAM that can run stable at 140-150FSB.

any thoughts on this. Should I just stick with 1 type of RAM?

would 1 module of 512MB instead of 2 sticks of 256MB be a faster way to go?

thanks all.

<< Please read the FAQ: RAM considerations about mixing RAM.

There is no speed difference between 1 x 512MB and 2 x 256MB.

OH YOU MOTHER FAQER!!! "Cuz your the FAQ's man..YEAH, You're the FAQ's maaaan"

Thanks for the heads up on RAM size, however I was curious about my specific type of RAM and real world experience of using these brands together (or by themselves). Assumedly there should be NO performance hit when mixing RAM of equal spec (ie. all pc133 with the same cas rating) however we all know that different brands of RAM perform better/ worse than others.

Maybe a better question would have been: "Would any of these 3 brands of SDRAM perform worse than another and become an impedement to system / OC'ing performance"

thanks again.
