Basic Question: Invoice The Same Thing As A Receipt?

I have to send in a receipt with my mail in rebate. I don't want to screw anything up, since $75 is at stake. At Amazon.com, there's an option to print the "invoice" for the order. Is that considered to be the same as a receipt? Thanks.
