i'm in the midst of building a media server in my closet...i'm looking for some very basic software to run the server with - it will be mainly used for file sharing.
the only package i've come across so far is NASLite, which is actually a floppy based system. it is extremely simple to use, but has very limited configuration options.
i'm looking for something slightly more customizable - but software that follows the same basic principles of small and lightweight.
any input would be appreciated.
