bash version of rehash = ?

New binary installed, you type rehash to enable the abilitiy to run it in csh. What is the command in bash to do this?
 
On Linux at least, I don't think this is necessary unless the binary's path was previously empty. I only tested with shell scripts, but I can't see why it would be different with a true binary file. In the cases where the path was empty, I don't know. I just log out and back in.
