are they the same thing or different technologies.. trying to read up on this but currently not able to sort it out...

i think they both use hot water, but they differ in what kind of radiator you're gonna see...

baseboars is long, along the baseboard... hydronic radiators, can be mounted on the wall like a thin box...

apples and oranges.

Baseboard heating only refers to the location of the registers. It can use different types of heating, electrical, hot water etc.

hydronic is the type of heat transfer medium, hot water. It could be baseboard but could also be subfloor, wall radiators etc.

i see... baseboard heating is what's popular these days then....

i've been reading about MYSON a European brand of hot water radiators... it can be attached to the wall... any experience with these?

baseboard heating = blah...cheap, but blah.

I prefer the one where warm water circulated through pipes in the floor, makes the room FEEL nice and toasty. Don't remember what it's called.

isnt that radiant heating?

i think that's the most expensive heating though....

okay if it's a new build of a home but when you're remodeling, it's costly.
