There was a similar incident a few years ago where a fly ball tagged a bird over left field. It was pretty funny to see the left fielder running for the ball and then suddenly stop for apparently no reason. A second later.... <plunk!> the ball lands near him and then.... <plunk!> the bird lands a few feet away. The look on his face was priceless.
