Is anyone watching and/or listening to the Yankees/Twins playoff game now?

I'm stuck at work and although we have internet access, virtually ALL sports related sites are blocked. I guess those sites aren't necessary for work. Wonder who decided that? LOL.

Anyway, how about some updates? What's the score, inning, etc?

Fortuantely, I'm a SF Giants fan and I'll be home to see them later.

Go Giants!

I also hate the Yankees. In fact, our family has a rule in our house .... we don't root for ANY teams from New Your/New Jersey, in any sport, at any level! LOL.

BTW, I cannot use gameday or gamecast. I have NO access to sports websites while at work. Also no sound card. Don't need sound for work you know.

It's a pretty tight game. Guzman manufactured the Twins run by himself, he went 1st to 3rd on a hit & run single to left, he just challenged Matsui and it was an extremely close play at 3rd. The throw and tag actually beat him, I guess the ump said the tag missed, I missed the replay. Next AB he scored on a very shallow fly to center, Bernie's throw to the plate was poor and off line.

Right now Twins have bases loaded in the 4th, 2 out. Guzman up yet again.

Thanks Spoooon. That worked. Wonder if it's because it's a Canadian site? But do I have to know the exchange rate to convert the scores from Canadian to American? j/k

Actually, when I click on the link you provide, the top of the page and the left border load fine but the main frame in the center of the page is blocked. I clicked on Baseball from the menu on the left and it seems to work fine.

I picked that one because it was the first canadian site that I found when I googled baseball and some other terms. It seemed like it would be easy to overlook a Canadian site.

Wow! This is great. Let's keep this thread going. The play by play is wonderful and I REALLY appreciate it!

BTW, the site Spoooon provided doesn't work as well as I had first thought. I still can't get to the live scoreboard section of the site. It's blocked.

The funny thing about this year's playoffs, for me anyway, is that there are several teams I could root for. Although always a Giants fan at heart, I like several of the teams. It seems playoffs in all sports almost always come down to teams I don't care anything about, or even can't stand and I'm left rooting for the least hated team, or not watching at all.

This year we have the Cubs and Red Sox, both sentimental favs. I live in Florida and we have the Marlins, who I have followed, though not as rabidly as the Giants, since their inception. I used to live in the Bay Area as a kid, which is how I became a Giants fan (and A's too ... LOL). DOn't have anything against the Twins either. In fact the only probs I can see are the Braves and Yankees. Hate the Yankees and sick of the Braves.

Paradoxically though, I am kind of rooting for the Braves in one way .... if they and the Giants both move on, I'll probably take my son (Braves fan) to Atlanta to see a game or two of the NLCS.

What to do, what to do.

Let's just hope Barry Bonds gets his World Series championship this year!

Bad bad news for the Twins.

Santana has just left the game with a leg cramp. He was totally shutting the Yankees down.
