Portland Sea dogs? Wow Im from Brunswick Maine. what a small world. Ive been watching them since they were the Florida marlins affiliate.

nice pictures. I took some nice pics with my s410 at the Orioles vs Royals game this past weekend at Camden Yards. I'll have to post them sometime.

Thanks. I actually rented that lens (Canon 70-200 f/2.8) and a 1.4x TC. That and a little "seat upgrade" got me right where I needed to be.

the Drebel has a what 1.6x crop factor, so 200 becomes ~300, 1.4TV gives you like 450mm, Seadogs stadium isnt that big where were you sitting?

I was talking about my pics I took at Shea. I was probably 30 or 40 yards away, 3 or 4 rows back in the middle of the 1st base dugout. Most of my pics were around 220 - 280mm mark, so that's 352 - 448 with the crop. And it was a 10D, damn it!

Nice pics......too bad it looks like the Seadogs got drilled in the game. :( One of the pics showed them being down 5-1.
