This was handed down to me some time ago. It came from a distant relative that lived in NYC back then. Take note of the company that held the event. Am I gonna be rich and famous?

Doing a solid 2.5 minutes of research reveals that a "war tax" was imposed on baseball tickets to help pay for WWI but this is separate from the "federal tax".

That said, I think it's an interesting curiosity but probably not worth much.

What you really want are full or even partial sets from the late 80s and early 90s: upper deck, score, donruss, etc. Very rare and extremely valuable.
