Baseball game for the pc?

I miss the basebal season :frown:. What the good pc baseball games? I do not to trade players or anything like that. I just to walk up to the plate swing and catch the ball. Throw fastballs and what not, all that trading, managing crap is too much. Any suggestions?

From what I've read lately, your choices seem to be VERY limited. Other than Baseball Mogul (which does sound like a fun game to me), no baseball games seem to have come out for the PC in a couple years.

I'm still playing High Heat Baseball 2003 (cause I LOVE It🙂) and I have a copy of MVP Baseball 2005 which is okay (i.e., I'm more into baseball simulation than arcade baseball). HH2004 is similar to 2003, but I believe "mouse support" is not included with 2004 which is a bummer (I didn't buy 2004 due to lack of mouse support).

Seems HH2003 sells for a premium new or used. Here the link via Amazon.

IMO, MVP Baseball 2005 with the latest mod from mvpmods.com is the best there is for the pc. It's a user created mod that is very high quality. They update rosters, uniforms, stadiums, and even add music. I highly recommend trying it..

You will have to register to download the mod, but it is free. The 2008 version is still in the works but you can currently download the 2007 version.
