OMFG they look like they could win it all this year. I realize that it is only april and still early, but WOW.

and barry bonds has been just a bit above average lately. if he starts hitting like he did the last 2 seasons, OMG. and Nen has been hurt too. if he comes back??

WHEW. they look very good.

Edit, Update.

OK, earlier the Giants looked good. Now it's the braves. Almost EVERYONE including me had written the braves off. there was no way the braves were gonna take their division this season.

OMG, it's still not out of reach for them and they are playing WELL.

all i can say is WOW.

Same thing my Royals have.....after all these seasons I had given up hope on them even being slightly good and here they are 10-1. Of course I expect them to come back to reality any day now...

royals will be good. i don't think they will be 10-1 good all season, but then the giants won't be 12-1 good all season any more than the yankees will be 10-2 good all season.

but, i think that in the end the giants will do better than the royals, tho i feel the royals will be competitive this season.

good luck.

Braves huh? Ouch.....they are likely to be down for a long time. Don't get too down though. One of my best friends is a life long Rangers fan and it's about this time every year we have to put her on suicide watch.

texax rangers or new york rangers?

since you said this time of year, i'm going to assume the NY rangers. :)

irony is i lived in atlanta for 20 years, the whole time i was there they STUNK, then i left atlanta in 1990 and wouldn't you know it they went on the long streak.

oh well. unless your a yankees fan, you have to accept that there will be bad times with you team.

Texas Rangers. They usually stink it up so bad early on that she's ready to give up on the season about 20 games in.

Damn Yankees!

hey, the rangers are only 2 games out of first place. probably the closest they'll be all season, but they are closer to first place in their division right now than the braves or mets are. :)

The diamondbacks are looking very pathetic this year.

There is too much talent on that team to keep getting whacked night-in and night-out like they are :frown:

I am a lifelong Yankee fan, and I remember when the Yanks were HORRENDOUS. For a long time too.

Yup, Yankees stunk late 80's, early 90's. I was just a wee lad in middle school but I still liked them, Don Mattingly was my favorite player as a kid.

I have confidence in the Giants this year. I didn't think there would be much of a dropoff if any with our offseason acquistions. Cruz, Durham, and Alfonso are doing really well to replace Kent's bat and Ainsworth, Foppert, and Moss shoud are also filling in well for Livan and Estes. I think we'll easliy win the divison with the Diamondbacks and Dodgers not looking to good thus far.

I'm a life long Met fan that grew up in Yankee country...

i still remember my senior year Homecoming dance in high school...it was game 7 i think of the yankees world series....all the guys were in the cafeteria watching the game of course...it was like 80 yankee fans and 3 or 4 mets fans rooting against them...

I can already see it now...Mets make a comeback and start playing well...then they lose 10 in a row...late august comes around...OH MY they are making another run at it....just to fall down again
