It's in the news today, a base jumper that was stopped in 2006 from jumping off the observation deck of the Empire State building released a video where we see how the security guards held him to th railing. He's suing the buidling management for 30 million since he says he was traumatized.
The jumper posted the video on youtube, he says that he was handcuffed with his parachute still on and that if it had gone off, he would.ve had his arms ripped off.
So has anyone else done what he nearly did ? I can't find any reference on this. Some stories about jumping the WTC towers, the statue of liberty, but not THAT building.
