base 64k ram failure

New MSI g31 TM Motherboard, Beep code tells me "base 64k RAM failure".
Is this the processor? or the RAM?

without knowing more, probably the RAM.

Motherboard or RAM, probably, as the memory controller is in the motherboard chipset (G31).
