With Barton now slated for a 400Mhz FSB it seems like we are on the brink of a new CPU power war.
Estimates are 15% perf increase for 400Mhz FSB, another 15% odd for the Cache bump and I suppose we should add in a couple of % for the Dual DDR loving of NF2.
I'd Like to see how a Barton400 NF2 system stacks up against the Granite Bay set up.
I think that Hyperthreading has been underestimated so far, and Intel have been kicking up their skirts to pull out a good product. The 3.06HT P4 looks good.
I just hope that the Barton turns up sooner rather than later.
When is the 800Mhz bus due on the P4?
