Barton vs Thoroughbred

I thinking of building a new computer and don't know if Should I get a 2500 Barton or 2400 Thoroughbred.

Specs:

Motherboard Shuttle AN35 ultra
Ram 512MB
Video Radeon 9200

I will be doing divx encoding, video editing home movies, web surfing.
I will not be gaming on this computer.

Should I pick the Barton or Thoroughbred.
Or should I even think about a XP 2000 thoroughbred and save some money on the deal.

A Barton has twice the cache for just 11 dollars more. I also hear people talking about getting the mobile barton 2600+ because it runs on less voltage.
 
people get the mobile barton because it overclocks well because of its low fsb, low default voltage, the fact that its multiplier is unlocked, and the fact that it can handle heat very well.
 
I'm not going to be overclocking, but I don't know if the extra catch would make a difference that I would notice.
 
just about any of the mobile bartons (especially the 2400-2600+ ones) should be able to hit 2.2GHz @ stock 3200+ voltage. If you aren't going to tweek or OC at all then I'd just go with the Barton, the extra cache will help for the future.
 
Extra cache makes a difference in general applications, I would get it. Along with its 333 bus, it would rock the 2400 and definitely worth spending the 11 bucks.

This is not taking OCing into account.
