Hi,

Just setup a computer and I'm a new to this whole thing.

My motherboard is a NFORCE2 EPOX|8RDA3+ and it's supposed to support a 400mhz FSB. The manual only showed two jumper settings for the FSB and they were 66-100mhz and 166-200mhz (I believe). Is there something I'm missing or is the manual out-dated? I'm new to building computers and I'm not sure what else to check. If there's something in the BIOS I need to check, what specifically should I keep an eye out for?

Thanks and let me know if I need to give more info. about my setup.

Edit: Grammur

1.1 is the default of the motherboard when you boot up for the first time.

Go into bios...press F10, yes.

done.

Thanks, danthemanwiththemasterplan, I'll give that a try when I get home.

Actually, I think I already saved the BIOS because it wouldn't let me continue w/o doing so. F10 is just the prompt for Save and Exit? Yeah, I did that.

Anything else?

The jumper is already set to 200mhz if that's what you mean by manually setting it. And I do have PC3200/DDR400 RAM.

jumper?....there's no settings in the bios to change FSB? I coulda sworn the epox boards had them as well no?

my abit board reverts back to 1.1 whenever i overclock too much..and i just set everything to default and it goest back to 400fsb..heh
