This is running a bit hot, I know, but what would be the best and cheapest way to cool it down? I don't plan on OCing with the temp this high already, but I'd like to have the option if I wanted to.

Right now the only fans in my system are the PSU, the stock HS/F that came with the CPU, and the itty bitty thing on my Radeon 7200. I don't currently have a case fan. I was wondering - what would be the best solution to bring the temps down a bit? Looking for price vs. noise vs. quality. The computer is in my room and not far from my bed, and I often leave it on throughout the night so I don't want anything that will require a set of earplugs to get me through the night.

Suggestions?

I'd put something like a Vantec Stealth or Panaflo in as a case fan. If there isn't any cool air coming into the case, then you're just recirculating hot air around.

I have the same processor and had the same problem, Did u use the stock HS with this thermal pad on the bottom of it? If so, then scrape it of (gently, do not scratch the HS bottom), polish the rest of the pad away with some alcohol (a good whiskey will do ) and the use some good thermal compound. Something like ArctivSilver III or even V will do a great job.

I'd go with an upgraded HSF and Arctic Silver since the replacement costs aren't high.
