Barton 2500+ on 266 fsb?

Is it possible? I have my Barton siting here. I need to know if I can use my Epox 8K3A+ with it. Thanks.

Yes, it'll work fine on a 266mhz fsb, although it'll not be at 2500+ speeds. That said, unless there is a BIOS update to run Barton for that mobo, it may not work or work properly. You could take the chance, but be aware that it might not work.

Any board that will run a Tbred-b will run a barton. Even the ECS K7S5a will run barton although only at 2/3 the clock speed.
