Barton 2500+ O'Cd 3200+ compared to Athlon 64 3000+?

I am about to order a new computer and I was curious on the performance diffrence of a Barton 2500+ overclocked to 3200+ compared to a Athlon 64 3000+?

The 64 will win most of the time, especially in games.

An XP3200+ is a bit slower than a 64 2800+ IIRC, so whether you choose a 2500+ (or better yet, a mobile 2400+) or the A64 3000+ is dependent upon your finances, priceerformance ratio, etc. But a 3000+ should be a very good investment.
