Barton 2500 Fan speed?

Sandra is reporting my new 2500+ Fan speed at 1896rpm as too slow. Is this the correct speed?

My retail Barton 2500+ fan is at 3100 RPM. Your rpm seems very low.

Hmm. Sandra is now reporting 2100 although no warning message now.

I wonder if it's just a different type of fan? There isn't speed controll on the cpu fan, is there? Sandra says No.

look in the BIOS to determine fan speed, sandra may be mis-reporting
