I've never heard of the AQZFA 0340 - obviously it's new. I would definatly give that one a shot. For the most part, the 0330's top out at 2.2-2.3 Ghz. See what the new one does!

Throwing mine into the discussion .. an AQZEA ... I can't find this stepping listed on any charts !! Its a brown chip, not the usual green one. I have read on a German site where they got one up to 4200+ on AIR !!

I just built my rig 2 days ago and I'm still in testing mode... but here's wat i have so far:

223x9.5 = 2120 @1.775 vcore, 1.744 actual on MBM5.
synched memory, timings 2-3-3-11 @2.7vdimm, 2.75 actual on MBM5
idle cpu temps = 38C

Ran SuperPI 1M: 46seconds
3dmark 2001SE: 17,347
3dmark 2003: 5667

i have the aqzea and it does very well. imo the difference is negligable in such a cheap chip. just buy one.

Hi ,

I just got a Athlon 2500+ AXDA2500 DKV4D
AQZFA 0335WPMW

And i have to say running it in my Lan Party NF2 it isnt performing we'll ive had problems getting to 3200.

My Lan Party NF2 had my old 1700+ Dlt3c at 2.5gig so i would expect it to be a reasonable overclocking board ... but who knows mabye the AQZFA will perform better in another board i have an 8RDA+ which i just updated the BIOS to support Bartons i may try it in there and see how it performs ... if i do i'll let you know :)

You need that much voltage to get 2.1 GHz? Have you tried 2.2 GHz yet? Your FSB looks really good, but how about giving that CPU a go at higher speeds (mine did 2200Mhz @ 1.65V).

Maybe Guildenstern is getting better results ;).

Got my AQZFA 0335 yesterday - so far running stable at 2400MHz; mind you, that needs 1.95V Vcore :( hopefully it will settle itself in over the next few days, cool down a bit and live with a lower Vcore. Anyway, I bought two of them just in case - it's like women, always make sure that you have a spare :D

Hi ,

NickEI i just got a Athlon 2500+ AXDA2500 DKV4D

Ive found it a real struggle with that chip to get it to 3200+ but i eventually settled on 10.5 x 200 @ 2100 3200+ speeds but it dosent say 3200 as i think its not the 3200 Ratio. :frown:

I find it VERY hard to belive that youve got a AQZFA 0335 2500+ @ 2400 MHz , on air cooling ... even at 1.95v your temps must be through the roof ... do you have a WCPUID or CPU-Z screenshots of this ... because if i can be sure this chip is more capable thats it gives me just now .... i might invest in some better cooling to see how far i can go.

Please try and get some WCPUID screenshots if you can .... thanks ...:)

I know that 1.95V is a bit much, temperatures are around 50°C at the moment:

Hoping that it'll settle in after a day or two and let me drop the voltage - if not, well, I bought two of them!

Edit: Once I get the camera charged, I'll get a shot of the stepping label of the other CPU.
