Barton 2500+ and KX7-333R

Just wondering if I can use the Barton 2500+ with my motherboard. Thanks for any help

Yeah, there are a few people using Barton's with that board. If I remember correctly, you just have to upgrade the bios to the latest version.

I say go for it, the KT333 is a good Via chipset and the 2500+ is an excellent CPU. You'll have a nice setup there.

Much appreciated guys. My original core 2100+ has absolutely no room for overclocking even with the Alpha PAL-8045 and a full-tower Chieftec case with 6 fans... bored of running at stock speeds so I figure it's about time for something new. Thanks again.
