Barton 2500 @ 2.57 1st attempt

Wow, I am impressed with this chip. I have not tried any higher. 12 x 214 and all is great. Going to wait to put together my new setup before trying anymore...


New set up is:

DFI Infiniti
2x120mm Heatercore
Demonicooling 3 barb block
9800XT

THe Block and XT will be here on mMonday..wOOt!

yeah what voltage are you using, mine does 2.406 on 1.71V

According to Dapunishers results with his barton at 2.43ghz it can beat a A64 3000+ all day and even compete with as high as he could oc the 3000+....i think yours at 2.57ghz could beat a 2.3ghz athlon64 in a lot of things....

Its competing streak came to an abrupt end in actual gaming, though... UT2003 Demo, the A64 was doing significantly better.

(not meant as a detraction to your killer OC, WA261, that is a sweet OC! )
