A Linux box with a Celeron 333 running on a 75mhz bus 24x7 for OVER a year doing ip forwarding... not to strange right... well this one DIDEN'T have a heatsink on it...
Believe it or not...............
Well, believe it, I took this sucker out of service today. I decided to blow the dust out of it figureing the heatsink must be totally cloged. Well, it wasen't, becasue THERE WAS NO HEATSINK ON IT!!!! This thing ran for over a year this way doing ip forwarding for out company. I showed the head IT guy and he said "hmm" (verry excited guy)
Well there it is, believe it or not.
