Barry Bond's trainer admits Bonds took steroids in 2003

but... but... baseball RANDOMLY tested Bonds and he was clear!!!!11!!1

being in the bay area, i always get into arguments with people about this topic. I hate people that keep defending the guy. It's like Chris Rock in one of his HBO specials talking about R Kelly's sex tape. "We know what you look like, and that's you! Look, 2000 Soul Train award on the dresser... that's you!"

Wow. This is getting big fast. I always respected Bonds, and deep down I never really thought he used steroids, but things are turning fast.

He's still an AMAZING hitter. You can't take anything away from him--steroids or not.
we'll never know how good of a hitter he really was now would we? Yes, he has an amazing eye, but it takes more then that.

Bingo!

he has amazing eye hand cordination. I wonder if he would still be hitting as many homeruns without the juice?

I wonder how many are NOT on steriods?

It's because of steroids that he walked 220 times this year.

No because of steroids, he can hit the ball farther and therefore pitchers don't want to pitch to him and therefore he walked 220 this year.

Exactly. Hand eye coordination is one thing, and it's very important, but steroids would have a SIGNIFICANT effect on bat speed and swing power. Steroids just play too large of a role to discount.
