poor Jason Schmidt. Tim Worrell screwed that up big time. Good thing Barry saved them.

Oh, and Aurilia almost screwed them over too

Walk off means his HR won the game. Walk Off hr is the most satisfying offensive play in baseball.

#652 means it's his 652nd career HR.

the giants were batting at home and barry bonds' home run put them in the lead in the bottom of the 9th or extra innings, so theres no point to the game continuing cuz the giants won. thats a walk-off home run. hes hit 652 home runs

Yep, saw it too. Giants sweep Braves in three. Did the same thing the like what, two nights ago? All I can say is he is one heck of a power hitter.

let's take for example Gary Sheffield, A VERY VERY good hitter in his own right. Guess what he did when the game was on line? he got a single, if he had hit a HR the braves would probably have won this one.

Bonds is MUCH MUCH better than Sheff, and Sheff is a very very good hitter.

I have been telling people for years that Bonds would break the career home run record......only in the last two years has everybody else seen the light.......:)

hey, i've been a bonds fan since he was with pittsburgh and they lost to the braves (i'm a braves fan). :)

however, if it hadn't been for his 73 HR season it would still be highly unlikely for him to break Aarons record. even as it is he needs 3 seasons probably to do it.

yeah, bonds is an amazing homerun hitter. shame he doesnt want to chase aaron's record. oh well, hopefully he'll demolish the babe's record and insert himself a homerun shy or right on of aaron's.

pujols will have to get the triple crown AND get the cards in the playoffs to beat out barry for the MVP...

the giants were awful without barry and what happens when he comes back? they sweep the braves.

game 1 on tuesday: walkoff homer
game 2 on wednesday: intentional walk to LOAD the bases, then alfonzo singles home the winning run
game 3 on thursday: walkoff homer again.

he was a key part to win all 3 games...
