Wells lets see how the post Balco is shaping up.
Roy Jones has been knocked out twice and looked average.
Marion Jones hasn't won a race since.
But so much for that steroids in baseball garbage. Jason Giambi in not even a full season has hit 30 hrs this year.
And Barry Bonds is back, nothing has changed. Dude has been tested now going on 2 years, hasn't faced major league pitching in over a year and after a half dozen games looks like Barry Bonds, lol, I love it. In the fifth inning someone was yelling cheater while he was at the plate, in the 8th he puts it in McCovey Cove. :D
He is the greatest baseball player that has ever lived, period.

Roy Jones got some bad-ass knockouts, but Mikes Jones went platinum, now that's amazing.

I'd love to see Barry smack 60+ at his age next year just so the sand in some of the hater's vaginas would itch even worse.

Yeah, all those damn lotions and cremes have side effects along the lines of growing 4-6" on your biceps.

LOL
So anyone who gets bigger and stronger over 16-17 years because of working out is juicing? Your a damn idiot. When I graduated high school I as 5'9 and weighed 159 lbs, and had a max bench of 205. 16 years later I am almost 40 lbs heavier and an inch taller and up until I hurt my back about 7 years ago I squatted 505, benched 340, and deadlifted over 600. I have never taken a steroid not one day in my life. And oh yea my face is fatter, my head is bigger, and it looks even a larger than it really is because I also am bald on top so I shaved my head real close, so I look completely bald. I guess I juiced as well. And looking at those pictures look like year after year he got bigger and the way he trains he should. Its called pummping iron. You idiots act like in 9 months he gained 40 lbs. Those pics are over 15-16 years. Dummy.................

look at picture 11, then 12 - that isn't natural stupid....oh, and this....HE'S ADMITTED TO USING THE CREAM, he just said he didn't know it was roids.

He didn't get bigger and stronger over 16 years - he exploded. His face is noticably different in picture 12 than it is in picture 11, which was taken the prior season..oh, which by the way happens to be the time his HR totals shot through the roof.

I'm not a Bonds hater, but those of you that defend him as if he were your own mother are a sad and pathetic bunch. His best friend, a guy he grew up with, is knee deep in the Balco mess, is involved in many other roid cases...hello?

He isn't alone among mlb stars. Have you seen Ivan Rodriguez? Jeff Bagwell? Bret Boone? Troy Percival? Juan Gonzalez?

Bonds plans to lose 28 pounds in the offseason to get down to 200...

supposedly too much weight for his knee...

no sh!t sherlock, without steroids he's going to lose weight anyways or become a fat fvck.

What a coincidence.

Yup, the jump in his appearance from 1998 to 1999 (pictures 11 to 12) is huge. Now, look at his numbers in 1998 and 1999:

1998: .262, 34 HRs, 83 RBI
1999: .306, 49 HRs, 106 RBI

1998 was one of his worst years EVER. The next year he comes back with 30-40lbs extra and his face looks like it's doubled in size.

Coincidence? ....yeah right.

i'm not saying he took steroids or not, but if a professional athlete.. especially one who's godfather is willie mays, does poorly, don't you think he would train his ass off and get his numbers back up?.. to be fair, his 97 numbers were

1997
.303, 37 HRs, 122 RBI

looks pretty close to the 99 average and way more rbi's.. just 10 more hr's.. maybe he had a poor year in 98 and juiced, or maybe he had a poor year and worked his ass off.. i dunno.. all i know is he's back, and the giants are winning

It's amazing how everyone focuses the steroid issue on Barry, while it's painfully obvious he's the one guy who needed them the least regardless of if he did in fact take them or not. Just look at the numbers over his entire career, he was the most feared man to see walking toward the plate even back when he was "scrawny". I think some people just love to hate him anyway and this simply gives them a better excuse to let it out. I suppose he didn't smile enough for cameras, pimp out enough pizzas, shoes, soft drinks and video games for some people. I guess it's possible....just possible, while his most of his competitors were busy doing these things, he was busy doing what he's supposed to be doing....becoming a better baseball player.

Quite frankly, I don't care what a professional athlete pumps into their body, it's not mine.

I actually supported Bonds until he admitted to using steroids. I used to get into long arguments about it. Now he's just a cheater.

However, he easily the most feared hitter of the 1990's and was definitely a HOF player before his explosion at such an old age.

Quite frankly, I do care about if a professional athelete cheats or not. I'm a fan of the game.

Aside from all the steroid talk, he's still a total jerk and always has been. There's no sense in treating the people the way he does when he's looked up to by so many.

I fully agree with you there, the thing is it wasn't explicitly in violation of the rules at that time. If the best player of our time is going to get raked over the coals for it then I want all players who took part to be as well (this includes those that may have snuck by during the scandal). It's obvious this wasn't isolated and who knows just how widespead it may have been. That's why I get a kick out of the people who say his name should have an asterisk beside any records he may hold, as if the people he's playing against may have not been all juiced up.

Jason Giambi already seems to be getting a lot of abuse. Every player that used steroids should be ostracized. I can agree with that.
