I'm curious, is anyone familiar with this product? I'd love to know if its default configuration is to bounce spam or silently drop it. The last day or two has been one of those lovely times of the year when I get about a million back scatter messages from barracuda thanks to a spammer. I'm just wondering if I should blame barracuda for being dumb or the administrators. I'm guessing barracuda because I tried to email postmaster at a few of the domains only to find out no such mailbox exists which I believe is not RFC compliant so it seems like a low quality product.

On a side note, any advice for what to do when you can't find any working addresses for the owner of the netblock the spammer is coming from? 87.16.180.108 is the address in question. Try to track down their upstream provider?

Shouldn't be Barracuda. I had a bounce back email address to make my Exchange server RFC compliant and it was behind a Barracuda box. Sounds morelike a config issue than a problem with the spam box.
