Our hospital just updated its barracuda, now I'm locked out of anything game related, forums or social ie facebook. Anyone know of relatively new proxies to get around this.
 
Heh you wont find a whole lot of help here. I'd talk with IT or your manager. But guessing they are blocking those websites because too many people frequent them during the work day 😉

And circumventing the security policy is a great way to get fired. In this economy management is looking for any reason to lay people off.
 
You work at a hospital, a place where an incredible number of personal and private records are stored, and you come here asking for a way to get around the security?

I agree with Nothinman. If you have a legitimate need for gaming and social sites at work, talk with your IT department and talk with your management. If you don't have a legitimate need, then consider them blocked for a reason. It's their network, and their computers, and their policy. Is it worth losing your job over?
