Seagate cuda IV ST380021A 80 gig, 3 weeks old, problem since new.
Tested on MSI Turbo2 and now used on KT3 Ultra.

cylinders 16,383
BUT.......... both bios reads cylinders at 38,309 ??????
which seem to be the cause of major file coruption during tranfers
and even small downloads. Long boot time W2k and 98, and at times long delays even using explorer, 20 - 30 seconds to display folders.
Windows seems to be having a prob. finding and storing the data.
Sons puter, have not used myself, but have had no prob.
with other brands. Cuda IV is very popular here so I'm hoping for
some fix, or replys of the RMA advice.
