I have heard that these drives have problems in Raid 0, does anyone know if they also have problems in Raid 1? I plan to buy a pair of them for a Raid 1 array, but not if they don't work well.

Oddly enough, I used the 10% + 10% discount on a Dell OEM 80 GB drive (Seagate I hope), and it shipped the same day. God I hope it's a Seagate.

I nerv believe Dell anymore on their shipping dates ( or anything as a matter of fact) .. theyll say its delayed and theyll come in the next day .. theyll say its shipped and itll come 3 weeks later ... you call to cancel in your order and theyll send it anways .. well Dealing with Dell is a gamble in my opinion ... I got lucky when I got this HD bc I got it within 3 days even though they said they were going to delay it for 3 weeks ..

great price for the drive though!!

The Seagate Barracuda IV I ordered on Wednesday from the home store night shipped Thursday and should be here today.

I ordered 2 on the 24th and it shipped out on the 25th at 9 PM VIA Airborne Express, it should be at my doorstep today.

Dell always overshoots its shipping estimates. I remember when there was the hot deal for the z560s for 110 bucks, they wait was "within the next 3 months" but it shipped a week later.
