It sounds like the perfect fit for me. When will this Barracuda 7200.9 be released? Anyone have any ideas?
 
i'm also interested in this hard drive.. unfortunately it looks like i won't be able to wait for it. just spent a week looking over parts for my new $1500 rig (includes 2 hitachi 160gig drives) and i definately need some sort of a hard drive.... maybe i'll order that $59 pata 160 maxtor in the hot deals section... could always use it as a backup later on...
