Bargaining with Voicestream

Has anybody successfully talked a better deal with voicestream (phone upgrade or more minutes?). My plans has expired already, I'm considering switching plans or talk a deal with voicestream, I called them last time but the deal kinda sucked.

$39.99 per month
600 weekday anytime minutes with free long distance and free roaming
UNLIMITED weekend anytime minutes with free long distance and free roaming

If you don't make any long distance calls or don't roam outside of your home calling area they recently lowered the price on their 3,000 minutes plan from $59.99 down to $49.99 that's a great deal.

Just B.S. your way through it and you should come out ahead. Then again not everyone is as gifted with BS'ing as I am.
