Has anyone bargained at Breuners (furniture store) with any success?

We want to buy a nice set of furniture from them, and we've already beein buying from them in the past on a couple of occasions (from the same salesperson). You can typically bargain easily with independent furniture stores (jsut because they give a huge markup on furniture anyway, and they still make quite a profit from any sale). But Breuners is a big chain store...

Does the salesperson have the power to issue a discount or knock-off the tax, for example?
