I recently purchased a cashregister for my store he other day and needless to say it may look like I need a point of sale type setup. Instead of going through and getting an expensive point of sale setup can I use my barcode scanner and cash drawer frm my cash register? I have the Royal 9155sc which looks to be pretty much a point of sale if you could somehow dismantle it. I do have the point of sale software from Quickbooks so that is not a problem. The interface to connect the barcode scanner to the cash register is a network type adapter or maybe what they call the rsr something or another. Is there a way to "talk with the barcode scanner? Does anyone know the exact model of the bar code scanner that comes with the Royal 9155sc cash register? Any help in hacking this cash regiser would be apprecitated. Thank You.
