I remember when she first hit the big time in the 70's. She caught a lot of crap for being a woman in a man's job...but dammit, she did it very well.

But didn’t realize she’s been a hermit since retiring. Very close journalist friend of her’s, last time she saw her was 5-6 years ago. And when she attempted to reach out, no response back.
