If it wasn't for taxpayer subsidies and bailouts, GM wouldn't be here at all and would already be 100% Chinese owned and manufactured.

Does this mean that the next time GM goes broke that, rather than my tax dollars, the Chinese Government will bail them, and the UAW, out?

After Obama is Biden. After Biden is Boehner. No thank you!
I don't feel Biden has got the gravitas to run amok like Obama. People will run a lot of interference with Biden and good ol' Joe probably won't be the wiser. I mean he'll probably blurt out the launch codes in the first week, but those can be changed.

Oh was that a joke? I just thought it was the same old I hate Obama partisan drivel. Try saying it a dozen billion more times in a post because we still aren't sure if you hate Obama.

Maybe obama and biden as a package deal?

Two for one special?
You'd probably have to get the first dozen or two before you'd find someone I consider a real improvement. Which considering how I feel about Obama is saying a lot about how I feel about D.C.

Wait - Obama has gravitas?

When the hell did this happen?

I do not hate obama, I hate what he is doing to this nation.

Hope and change has faded into despair and ruin.

Spare us the self pity, OK?

You hate what you imagine is happening to America, blame Obama because it's easy & emotionally satisfying to do so. He's easily identifiable as one of "Them" from a thousand different angles, and you've been taught to despise "Them" your whole life.

What, exactly, do you believe Obama is doing to this nation, anyway?

In many ways, the past determines the present and the future. It's not like things were just peachy when he took office, or that being President means he's now omnipotent, either.

I do not pity myself, I pity people like you who turn a blind eye to him lies and crimes against humanity.

Perfectly vague, huh?

Which crimes against humanity? Which of his predecessors committed none?

Have you considered the idea that the American people demand a different sort of morality from the CinC than you imagine?

The problem is the cars body is not designed to sit on a frame designed for a truck. So that would require a lot more customization, rather than just using the cars normal frame parts and adding reinforced truck designed frame and suspension parts.

This makes a good case for Hummer staying in business. I would rather tool around in a reinforced Hummer or a Lincoln, than in an ugly Cadillac any day.

Which is why The Beast is for all intents and purposes a unique and fully customized car. Rumors have it weighing around 3 tons, but I have seen other figures too. Any parts on it from China are probably cosmetic, they didn't buy some stock Cadillac and then tear them down, add some armor and put it back together. I am sure it was engineered from the ground up to be what it is. All of those life support systems, electronics gear, defense systems, .etc have to integrate into the car, and I would be shocked if they did that with a stock.

Like someone else said, they probably bought a chassis/engine and built it from the ground up, and then had some help from Cadillac to make it look like one.

I've read ten tons, but the actual weight is probably classified. Basically it's an APC with a limo skin.

I'm not Catholic, heck I'm not even Christian. But this guy is a breath of fresh air as far as religious leaders go. It would be nice if some of the American evangelical leaders could learn from him
Agreed. Commandment #1 should have been "Thou shall not be a dickhead." This guy seems to be the epitome of not being a dickhead, and it would indeed be nice if some of the American evangelical leaders could learn from him.
