Barack Hussein Obama: Whiner-in-Chief?

At some point this President needs to step up and start taking responsibility for his own actions and stop blaming the previous admimistration for everything. Yesterday Mr. Obama gave a speech in New Orleans where he was asked this from a resident:

Q: It's a man's turn. Gabriel from New Orleans, FEMA reimbursements. Delgado largest vocational school had to turn away 1500 students not enough to cover. Without full service hospital for last four years. "I expected as much from the Bush Administration but why are we still being nickle and dimed in our recovery?"

A: Working as hard and quickly as we can. You mentioned Charity Hospital. Committed to working with city and state for world class health in New Orleans. Complication between state, city, feds. I wish I could write a check

There's this whole thing about the constitution and congress. Everyone will attack you for spending money unless you're spending it on them, you notice that? (laughter). Sprung loose 1.4 billion that had been held up for years. May not sound like a lot to you but it's real money. Talks about his team working, by the time my term is over you guys are going to look back and say this was a responsible administration...

So now 4 years after Katrina. Obama is STILL blaming 'Compcations between state, city, and feds' and also blames the 'constitution and congress'. Its funny how Bush wasn't able to use that as an excuse, and that was in the immediate days following the disaster. We're 4+ years out and its the CONSTITUTION and CONGRESS thats holding things up? Please Mr. President. You have a supermajority in congress.. You can do better than that. And then he says he wishes he could just write a check. They passed a stimulus bill in a matter of days for hundreds of billions and 9 months into his Administration he STILL can't get relief to the people of New Orleans? They need to wait until the end of his term to judge him. 7 years after Katrina?

Then he goes on to rip GWB over the poor response immediately following the disaster. Can this man not say or do anything without excuses and without whining? GWB supposidly had these same restrictions with the CONSTITUTION.. CONGRESS, and state city and federal agencies but that excuse wasn't acceptable. Why is it OK for Obama to use them?

This man needs to start to LEAD and stop blaming everyone else. He can't make a single speech without mentioning Bush, inherited messes, Fox News, etc. Wake up Mr. Obama.. you are the President now - The buck stops with you. FIX things like you promised the American people you would do. Bush managed to lead practically the entire congress into 2 illegal wars :roll: and you can't seem to find a way to help Katrina victims 4 years later.

You would think the debacle of Katrina as a wakeup call about the ability of the Federal govt to help and protect people. Instead people think the problem was one man.

Watch this upcoming swine flu debacle unfold over the next couple of months. Schools are already in lock down mode but the feds are regulating who and where the vaccine goes. Many not supposed to get it until after Thanksgiving. Nevermind so many children already being hit with it. By December it will be too late.

And then watch who gets it first. I heard a story this morning the first on the list is Chicago. You dont fucking say!

I seem to recall alot of anger directed at GWB, and alot of anger directed at many parties that were slow to respond with aid:

Michael Brown/FEMA
That crazy mayor of New Orleans
the Governor of LA
various local agencies/law enforcement.
