Yes, McConnell, please resign...

I don't think Bannon actually understands how much trouble the Republicans are in right now. The issue isn't that McConnell and crew are bottlenecking legislation; it's that they don't want to commit career suicide by voting for terrible bills passed in the House. And they hopefully realize that their recent losses in this month's state elections are bellwethers for how they'll fare in other elections where their chances of winning are less than guaranteed.

It's weird that I'm somehow on the side of both McConnell and Bannon. But that's primarily because I want them to destroy each other as they're both utterly terrible.

Bannon doesn't give a shit about Republicans or Democrats. He wants single-party rule and he wants to be the kingmaker.

Pretty far when you've already aligned districts to favorably represent rural whites (racist or not) and you've got the tools of voter suppression at your disposal. Kentucky would be an easy state.

Bannon doesn't need a popular vote.

Good. McConnell is one of the worst things that has happened to the country. Not even hiding the fact that party comes before country and has turned the Senate into a completely dysfunctional toxic waste dump.

Hopefully all the infighting just clears the way for sane politicians to come back.

This is about 6 months too late Bannon, the turn has already started. Dump and his nazi/klan backers are on the decline, and you can't lead when the only thing you can do well is divide the populace. And I think you know this, which is why you are trying to bluster your way to turtle making it easy for you.

Oh to have both of these horrible people just vanish from the public eye for good.

It's about the primary voting Repub base, the Teatards. It's like Roy Moore. He'll probably win in the general despite being insane. Bannon can rely on the same sort of spirit in Kentucky if he can beat McConnell in the primary.

Some people just want to watch the world burn. Bannon is one of them.
