Banning myself from the news...I cannot take it anymore.

Penalties aren't going to fix how fvcked up people are.

Nuclear fire is our only option.
 
ACS needs to stop turning a blind-eye to these child abuse cases. They get paid to fill out paper work and sit on their hands, it's so farkin' disgusting. But, the blame can't be put solely on them. In that case it was evident that relatives of the family knew that the child was being abused, yet did nothing.

My wife is the same way. She can't stand to watch the news anymore. Everytime she happens to catch a little bit, it's some story about some young child that was abused/neglected/killed.
 
Being a parent, it saddens me to see stories about children in the news. I never really paid much attention before.

There is always HappyNews if you are tired of all the bad news in the world.
 
The news is just a fear machine anyway. Oh noooesss! We're all going to get the bird flu and die! Just like we all died from SARS!
 
Don't blame the News, blame the people.

You think the news would be read nearly as much if there weren't headlines like this? People want to hear the bad, not the good. It's sad, but true.
