Banner is different..

The banner from here on the main page looks perfect.


The one on the forums is from here and it looks like crap

So what gives?

If you look closely, the banners are both made from the same image. The forums banner is stretched, which is why it is a little grainey.

I vote for the one on the forums page that CorporateRecreation thinks "looks like crap." I like the font used there for "Your source for hardware analysis and news" better than the one used on the main page.

I think the thing that CorporateRecreation takes issue with is the pixelated image on the very left of the banner and not the font used for the text.

It's a different image. You can tell by the text.

I guess my eyes are going even more than I thought. At 2 ft, 1024 X 768 on a 19" monitor I don't see any real difference in the two at your link. I'll have to devote my time to complaining about the really important issue - no cookie icon. :brokenheart:
