Banned user returning

where he claims to own www.atotnightcrew.com, a site which PM4E registered (and repeatedly claimed ownership of last year) in an attempt to extort $70 from me last year and was subsequently banned.

The reason he is returning is because the Domain expired on 6/26/2006 and he remembered when it came up for renewal.

Your own cut and paste showed the offered price of the site to be $57.

I think you need to dig thru JTL's posts to confirm whether he is indeed PM4E. 😛

Like I said, I don't want to be the pr!ck here. If you're not PM4E, I apologize, it looked like you were when I posted this thread and I'm still not entirely convinced otherwise.

Too late. You have made 2 different call-out threads for Johnny Tight-Lips without any proof other than reading his post in a skewed manner.

In addition, you have misconstrued a sale as an extortion in an attempt to discredit and remove a member you disagreed with. Look up the legal definition of extortion. The first link on google says

the obtaining of property from another, with his consent, induced by wrongful use of actual or threatened force, violence, or fear, or under color of official right.

I don't believe he did any of those things to make it an extortion. He offered you property he legally acquired for sale that he thought might interest you. You were under no duress to buy it and you did refuse to buy it with no harm coming to you.

As a result of your posts and attacks on PowerMac4Evr, I think he may have grounds for a libel lawsuit. He has suffered a loss of reputation and loss of access to these forums. Furthermore, I will publicly offer to Tim that if he does take my suggestion and pursue a libel case that I will offer my services as a witness in the case at no cost to him.
