Banned Email Addresses

A recent acquaintance of mine just registered a few minutes ago, but there's no warning or anything about what email addresses are acceptable and what are not. If domains are banned, there should be a warning about it on the registration page. People getting messages about being forbidden to log in just after they join? That's kinda ass backwards -or are the mods just weeding them out early? 😉 Newcombers probably have no clue about what domains and ISPs are disallowed. Can we get a fix for that?

He registered the name "six24" with a hotmail address, not having any way to know that some domains are banned here. Can we get his account email address changed to s2spcarr@vcuREMOVE.edu?

Or should he send an email to the mods with user/pass and this school address to update his account with? Which will get this fixed faster?

Thanks guys, I made it in [obvioiusly]. But I agree that there should be some kind of warning or reason as to why I [or any other wanna be newbie will] get kicked back to the join page with the warning that I can't post/reply to messages.

Hmm ... too bad I've already done that twice ... but I'll keep that in mind for future reference. haha

The problem is that nobody ever reads that. Not even members with thousands of posts. 😛 To say nothing about people who are just signing up.
