It is strange that Muslims in the "civilized" or first world nations)US,Canada,France etc.) have been SILENT on the suicide bombing of 9/11, bombing of Madrid commuter trains, USS Cole bombing, etc. by radical Muslims. In America know them (radical Muslims) as mass murderers, liars, power mad cowards. They are no different than NAZI , Fascists, Saddam Hussein or Joseph Stalin and his henchmen.
No Muslim would speak against other Muslims on tactics and outright lies on what the Koran says. Their silence is a TACIT approval or fear of the "radical Muslims"!

They haven't been silent, you've been deaf.

PBS should have sued for its money back. It asked for a documentary on moderate Islam, and this movie was all about extremists and alarmism.

It is telling of a people when in response to the Knighthood of someone who apparently offended them, they in turn claim to honor a genocidal mass murderer such as Bin Laden. Do they equate mass murder with something as common and fickle as being offensive? The answer has already been voiced, loud and clear by the millions.

Where is the voice of reason now I wonder?

There are your moderates for you, hiding in a corner too weak to be relevant because if they stand up their radicals simply kill them. I believe the word we?re looking for is momentum. Who has it? The ones doing the killing, because snuffing out your opposition works. What is the response, where is the momentum of the moderates?

But when they saw the finished product, PBS execs decided it was "alarmist, overreaching and unfair" ? i.e., not sufficiently sympathetic to the terrorist maniacs who are trying to kill us. So they sat on the project, refusing to air it.

Fox is airing it tonight. :)

Peaceful muslims?

You mean, cultural muslims.

The vast majority of muslims, even in middle eastern countries, ARE NOT TERRORISTS.

But most of them support it one way or another. You don't see many protests against governments in islamic theocracies like Iran, Syria and Saudi Arabia, now do you? :D

You want to know why?

Everybody agrees (except for the women.)

I'm sick of this politicial correct bulls**t with muslims. You look at any country with a high muslim population and the affects it has on the society is quite sad.

One thing to note, radical christianity is far behind radical islam. Our so called quasi-christian government is nothing compared to the most secular islamic country.

Funny how we have this "war on terror," yet we're the primary financier of global islamic terror (oil importing = lots of $.)

What's that smell? Ah yes....irony.

Er, I'm pretty sure that wasn't what happened here...it seems highly probable that this video is extremely and excessively anti-Muslim. As a source for unbiased coverage and analysis, PBS would be right to reject it...which makes it also perfect for Fox News.

There are two interpretations to this story -- how a person interprets it depends on his/her own bias.

You can interpret it as PBS wanting to produce a documentary that was sympathetic to Muslims -- to show the world the difference between moderate and extremists Muslims. But they didn't like the results of their investigation and decided to ban it. If the results don't fit your foregone conclusion then it must be wrong.

The other interpretation is that the film makers had a bias against Muslims and PBS (being fair-minded and neutral) realized this and decided to ban the product. But why did PBS hire them in the first place? Shouldn't they have known the film makers had a bias against Muslims?
