So now it begins, the class warriors are no longer even bothering to hide. The government will now review your salary and determine whether you deserve it or not, or if it's "excessive." Before long I'm sure the bureaucrats will stop "suggesting" proper pay levels and start mandating them instead. As a shareholder in Wells Fargo, I fully hope that management tells this asshat to fuck off.

maybe instead of getting pissed at the banks, just stop giving them fucking money, don't bail their asses out and let a big one die. that'll stir up the rest to get in line.

If your company/corporation takes government (taxpayer) money I have no problem with this. If they don't want their pay scale decided by the government then don't take government money.

Would be nice, but the guys with the money have the power and they want more of your money.

Should have lets those crooks sink and your shareholder value with them. Free market that y'all espouse can not function when you let deadbeats run the show. Expect more of the same. aka moral hazard, even bigger to fail now.

Obama has proclaimed that there will be no more taxpayer funded bailouts, so your moral hazard argument is false.

This post brought to you by flag@whitehouse.gov

Oh yeah harbinger of truth Obama. That and 50 cents will buy a pack of gum.

Here'e the deal -

Y'all said nothing as Wall Street outsourced your jobs.
Sat fat and happy as loss of income was replaced by Wall Street and federal increasing debt.
Coward as Wall Street got bailouts and grandma got throw out.
Cheered as Wall Street cut you off from credit.

What kind of an idiot would let that happen and say nothing? Baaaaa Sheep!

I look forward to "Silence of the lambs" when it all comes a tumblin down.

So now the government is paying people my money to tell other people that they paid themselves too much of the money that the government took from me and gave to them. *head explodes*

Just plain silly.

You don't legalize robbery then blame the crooks for how they spent the money afterwards.

As a shareholder in Wells Fargo you obviously love taking it on the chin OP.

I love how calling out crooked banksters is somehow class warfare, as if corporate subsidies and the ability to fuck other people to make money are somehow sacred American values which should never be questioned or frowned upon in any way.

If the value of his stock increased, what cause would he to be angry if the person at the helm paid himself well?

Wells Fargo was bankrupter than bankrupt in 2008, wasn't it?

I used to be on board with the "pay the people the bonuses they deserve so they don't leave for foreign shores" train, but upon reading more about the crisis, that's a load of crap. Many people saw this coming and nobody did anything to stop it. If investors and taxpayers get hit in the pocketbook, the people who actually worked for the failed institutions should get hit too - and first. Let 'em leave, and take their bonuses. Tell them to work smarter and more honestly next year if they want to keep their jobs.

In every company that I've ever worked for or known anyone who worked at a company, it works a certain way. And that's that when the company is suffering and bleeding money, even people that perform well don't get additional bonuses because the company doesn't have the money to do that. This idea that companies that were in such dire straits as to need a bailout to not go under should be ok in giving money they don't have as huge bonuses .... well it's just so fucking retarded that I can't imagine that anyone who thinkgs it's a good idea can figure out how to properly put on pants.

You think Rand would have supported the bailing out of the banks? You've answered that question already, I'm just giving you a chance to change it.

So what?

LOL - I love it when the "progressive" tries to play class warfare.
How about we just eliminate the private sector and let government dictate wages?
(Oh wait - http://cnsnews.com/news/article/69746 - wonder what that could lead to?)

Another black and white argument from a follower of the Free Trade religion. Do you miss feudalism, by chance?

How about we fix our Democracy so the Government represents all Americans? A strong Democratic Government is the only power the regular people have against great wealth and power.

I hear California has a 300 billion dollar pension fund. All stolen from taxpayer coffers.

Nope, Rand would have supported another super wealthy banker swooping in and buying all the banks for pennies on the dollar, letting everyone with a bad mortgage go through foreclosure, and would have supported banks hoarding money. She was a big fan of Hoovervilles, IIRC.
