bank teller or vacation

I am graduating after winter quarter. I am planning to do graduate study the coming Fall. During winter break, I randomly applied for a bank teller position in bank of america. They called back today. Should I try to land the position? It seems pretty depressing to be a bank teller after graduation.
However I have nothing to do in spring quarter. I need to go back to see my grandparents in Hong Kong either in spring or in summer. Now the question is, should I go back to hk or try to get the job as a bank teller?

TAKE MY ADVICE AND TAKE THE DAMN JOB! Holy crap...I'm bored outta my mind here at home after graduation. Jobs just dont roll in after it. Take it, make some money, and get the hell outta the house.

That's a good point. I've been pondering about the possibility of being a stay at home do nothing loser.

Take the job. It will give you a chance to deal with real-world issues, plus your mind wont turn to jello as it would normally have by just staying home and doing nothing.

Although I do hear teller work is quite boring, but at least he'd be making money and interacting with people.

I'd take it, but I did have most of my summer off after I graduated until I found a job I liked. Okay, until I found a job.

I don't think I can just "take" the job. But I mean it's just a bank teller job, there won't be any differcult interview right?
I actually bargained a decent tutoring job right now. I got a drop-in tutoring session with my own room. No one ever comes, I just sit there and do my homework and get pay.

I would go back and visit the grandparents. I worked for BofA before (not as a teller but a CSR on the phone) and the teller's had to go thru 2-3 weeks of training before they were even allowed to help the customers. If you are looking for a teller job that should be pretty easy, most banks are always looking for tellers or even any basic entry level job shouldn't be too hard to find. Grandparents (especially the ones that you really like) are not going to be around forever. Here's another thing also, let's just say you start working now, usually there's a 3-6 month probation period where you can't take vacation anyway and when you can you would probably want to save up your vacation time so you don't lose any pay for the day's you take off. Most likely you would take at least a week or two. If that's the case you probably won't be able to go till the end of summer or towards the end of the year. When you finally do get enough vacation time what if your boss doesn't approve it. Yeah I know that scenario may not happen but you've got the time to go right now so I'd say take it.
