Bank robber gets cash with message sent through drive-up tube system

As funny as it sounds it could have some merit.

Note could have said that there was a bomb in the bank and they would push the button if he didnt get the money. Which I would be more likely to believe over him using that same note while robbing the bank the traditional way. Hmmm traditional bank robbery? Now this guy was thinking outside the box!!

Now if this guy would apply this thinking towards something worthwhile he wouldn't need to rob banks.

teller probably did not lose their job. they are not supposed to obstruct a robbery in any way. the bank is insured.

that being said she would be stupid not to say something... i mean it's not like he could hear her. but if it was a bomb threat on the note, she is trained to give up the money.

Man the more you think about it (beyond the strangness) it has a lot of benefits. I mean no need for a second person to have a get away car. You are already in it!

Granted there is the element that the teller was an inside person for a scam to get money and with this plan they have little inital risk.
