Quick question with regards to bank processing for those banking people here.
I had a very late customer pay a fairly large bill tonight with their credit card (finally).
The way my credit card processing works, if transactions are in by 5 PM, they post to my bank account during the FOLLOWING night's processing.
So if someone pays their bill Monday at 4:00 PM, I'll have it overnight Tuesday, available Wednesday morning. If they pay their bill Monday at 9:00 PM, I'd usually get it overnight Wednesday night, available Thursday morning (since it would be considered a transaction on Tuesday).
With the holiday this Friday, I'm a bit confused as to how things will work. Since he paid tonight at 9:00 PM, it will go on Wednesday's transaction report, which means it would normally deposit Thursday night, available Friday morning. But with the holiday Friday, will it now not post until Monday?
