Bank of America sucks, there I got it out of the way.

Although they heavily advertise "FREE ONLINE BANKING" here, they don't offer web based online banking yet. I find this hard to believe since BOFA is one of the biggest banks in the USA and it's almost 2003.

So no I'm not able to access my BOFA checking account online however I can access my BOFA credit card online.

Web based? I've been accessing my Bank of America checking account online for almost 3 years now... I can pay bills directly from my checking, do EFT transfers, check my statements... What else is there?

I've got to agree with aphexII, what else does it need to be web-based.... I access my checking account from the web every day. Every once in a while it'll boot me off too when I go to account summary... just hit "back" and try again, works for me everytime. I think when the system is being hit hard that's what happens.

Maybe I'm an idiot (it wouldn't be the first time) but BOFA Oregon customers have never been able to access their BOFA checking and savings accounts through the internet with a web browser. Instead you have to use Quicken or MS Money. If I am wrong someone please show me the light.

According to the front website, it asks which state your in... Try signing in with Oregon selected and see what happens... Maybe its just an oregon regulation or something?
